The Lincoln County Parks & Recreation Youth Baseball is sanctioned through Cal Ripkin League ages 6-12 which is a sub league of the Babe Ruth League.
Age Requirements (Your age division is determined by your age on April 30)
Major League (Live Pitch): 11-12 year olds
Minor League (Live Pitch): 9-10 year olds (8 year olds may play up)
Rookie League (Coach Pitch): 7-8 year olds (6 year olds may play up)
Baseball Bats: Cal Ripken Division – All non-wood bats must have the USABat Marking. The Barrel Maximum is 2 5/8″. No BBCOR Bats are permitted in the Cal Ripken Division. *This rule does not apply in T-ball/Wee Ball/Girls Softball.
Registration Fee: Goes toward a full uniform, player insurance, end-of-the-season award, field maintenance, utilities, and other expenses.
Parent Responsibility: You will need to provide your child with rubber cleats (no metal or plastic), glove, bat, and batting helmet.
